Terms of Service
Last updated: 3 November 2026. ClaimPilot is operated by [OPERATOR LEGAL NAME], [ADDRESS] ("we", "us"). This placeholder will be finalised before payment goes live.
1. What we do
ClaimPilot provides an automated service that (a) checks whether a flight disruption may give rise to fixed compensation under Regulation (EC) No 261/2004 ("EU261") or the UK retained equivalent ("UK261"), (b) prepares claims and related correspondence, (c) submits claims to airlines where you instruct us, and (d) tracks and chases claims, escalating to national enforcement bodies where justified. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice or representation.
2. The free check
The eligibility check is free and informational. It runs in your browser; we do not receive the details you enter. Results are based on the information you provide and the statutory rules; they are an estimate, not a guarantee of outcome.
3. Claims service and fees
- Success fee: 15% of the compensation you actually receive (12% for ClaimPilot+ members). No compensation received — no fee ("no win, no fee").
- Membership: ClaimPilot+ £39/year (early bird £29/year), billed via our payment provider. Cancels anytime; no partial-year refunds unless required by law.
- Court pack: where a claim must go to court and you elect to proceed, we prepare the court documents for a fixed £19 fee. Court filing fees, if any, are payable by you to the court.
- Payment flow: any compensation is paid by the airline directly to you. Our fee is collected by card or bank transfer afterwards via our payment provider (Merchant of Record). We never hold or transmit your compensation.
4. Your obligations
You confirm the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge, you are the affected passenger or their authorised representative, and you have not already assigned the claim to another company or had it finally decided.
5. Cooling-off
Consumers domiciled in the UK/EU have a 14-day statutory right of withdrawal from distance contracts. You may withdraw by emailing us; note that if you ask us to file the claim during the cooling-off period and the airline pays out, the success fee remains due for work performed at your express request.
6. Liability
We provide the service with reasonable care. We are not liable for airline decisions, court outcomes, or losses caused by inaccurate information you supply. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales; consumers retain any mandatory protections of their home jurisdiction.
